Titanium threaded rods are typically offered in **Grade 2** (commercially pure) and **Grade 5** (Ti-6Al-4V) alloys. Grade 2 is primarily composed of titanium (about 98–99%) with minor amounts of oxygen, iron, and nitrogen. In contrast, Grade 5 contains roughly 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. Grade 2 has a tensile strength of around ~344 MPa and a yield strength of about ~275 MPa. On the other hand, Grade 5 is significantly stronger, boasting a tensile strength of up to ~950 MPa and a yield strength of approximately ~880 MPa, with an elongation of about 14%.
